Looking for some guidence , I have a cs1000k 7.5 with static issues . Recommended that we replace the CLK cable (1) . Can this be done with out effecting service ? Thanks

put it in freerun, but the clock cable is not bad... 35 years doing nortel, i have seen one bad clock cable.. it was caused by a fire in the switch room...

I am not buying it either but I have to go with the recommendations. This all has to do with static. With LD-30 in midnights when the clock switches from "0" to "1" we get staic system wide. I have replaced both Clocks and numerous FIJI cards. And this does not happen all the time. Thanks again

When we converted to 7.5 we started having issues swapping clocks on two half group systems, and the recommended fix was to replace the clock cable.
I swapped the the cable on one of the systems, about three weeks ago, and so far it swaps clocks without any problems.
There was a product bulletin about the faulty cables but I never looked it up.
I never had anyone report static I was just working off of the alarms.
