Can I copy an object while a program is running?

Is there any way possible which I can copy a label as a program is running. For instance what I would like is for a label to start with the number one, and every time I click, the program will copy the previous label and change the caption (to the number 2, 3, 4,...)depending on the number of times i have clicked. Is this possible?

Use A Global String Variable for label renamings
Trap MouseDown event on form to trap ur clicks by incrementing the above variable each time. Assign the label this Variable each time in this event
