Hello All,

I have a user at a remote site that is having a problem with dropped calls. When the user is on a call and a second call comes in on his second call appearance, the audio on the first call is dropped, however, the first call is not disconnected and the timer continues to count. We have tried to delete the extension and re-add it. This works as a termorary fix but the problem returns. Any ideas as to what can be casuing this?

Thanks

Can you doa list trace and provide the results of the two calls?

Some questions:
Network setup? (i.e.: MPLS, DSL, etc.)
QoS enabled?
Codec being used? G.711, G.729, etc.
Firewalls between sites?

We had a similar issue on CM6/9611G phones / Firmware prior to 16T and Bridge Call Appearence. Temp fix was to reboot the phone.

Firmware 16T and above appears to have helped.

PBXHowTO: its hard to do since this only happens in external offices. i have to catch a call just at the right time, but i will try to do so.

dulfo666: thanks for the tip. i'll find out what firmware is running at this site.

Thanks
