I'm just starting to get my teeth onto MAS Applications, my customer has many users who have applications running for personal users to offer choices when hitting their VM. I've been able to create these applications, change COS on the VM boxes, deploy the applications and analyze them, associate them, etc. When it comes to getting the subscribers to record the greetings, it has been difficult for me to tell them what to do and finding information on announcement recordings is difficult at best. I've seen that users are to get into their VM boxes, hit 4,5,announcement number, #, which I believe gets the recording done. The customer tells me they've done the recording, but we are still getting 'good-bye' when calling their VM box. I do have the green key next to the applications that we created, supposedly signifying the application is bonded to the MSS server, suggesting a successful APP marriage to the subscriber box. Three questions, 1) is the method shown above appropriate to recording application announcements within subscribers VM boxes? 2) Am I missing any steps? and 3) Is there anything I'm missing with regard to activating that announcement before it engages, or any way of seeing that a greeting has been made? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
