Can you programm call park btns on an IP office? If so, do they light up when you park someone? Or is there some visual indicator to help the customer keep track of who is parked where?

it may depend on the model of phone ( havent had a chance to test on definity handsets) but you can programm a park bay under a DSS key on a 2030/2050 phone.
the light will flash red (2050 only) if a call is parked

Yo
I always program park zones on everyones phone. Like park 1,2,3,4. The operator can park a call and say pick up park 1,2,3,4.
It is an apperance on the phones(44xx)

We use 4 appearance and 4 park buttons on all of our 2420 and 4420 phones. My question is, "Do we have to have appearance buttons?

i have a IP406 with 2050 handsets and would like to know how to make the 4 phonemanager pro call park positions appear on the 2050 handsets DSS keys so people without phone manager can pick the calls up, so far i havent found it.

Manager -> User -> open a user -> Digital Telephony
Define first four buttons:
------------------------
Button | Action | Number
------------------------
1 | Park | 1
2 | Park | 2
3 | Park | 3
4 | Park | 4
5
6
7
8

Hint: Do you really need four park buttons - if you can get by with two then you can keep the rest for appearance/BLF indicators.
