Call logging- SIU 1

Hi,

While defining call logging in BC11SP13 using SIU I faced the following problem:

EDFII:FILE=SLK;
NOT ACCEPTED
NO FREE RECORD

So I can't complete confgiuring the CIL...
I restarted the program units EDH,FAM2,SIP,CLHHS1,CLHHS2,CLOPS1,CLOPS2,CLP,CLOM. But no success the same message (No free record)when trying to recreat the file.

I konw that the procedure to intite call logging is EDEQI,EDICC,EDFII,EDDFI,CLOHI,CLODI,CLTGI

any help for the message (No free record)

I have a silly question for you; do you have a NIU/NIU2 used as outpout device in your system?
You should take care that mixing NIU/NIU2 and SIU is not possible
See the recommendation from Alex
SIU and NIU/NIU2 output devices in the same exchange are not supported.
NIU/NIU2 and HDU output devices in the same exchange are supported.
SIU and HDU output devices in the same exchange are not supported.

Sorry fo the delay!

You need to restart all the program units in all the LIM's where they are installed.
To locate a promgram unit: CNPIP:UNIT=FAM2;
If this program is located in LIM=2, then restart it in this way: RFPUI:UNIT=FAM2,LIM=2;
This procedure, you need to do for all the programmes:
EDH,FAM2,SIP,CLHHS1,CLHHS2,CLOPS1,CLOPS2,CLP,CLOM

When all your SMDR programming has been ended (EDEQE etc.)
restart the programmes as described.
Then do an SFCEI; (and maybe the RFEXI
Then initiate your SMDR again.
If this procedure does not work, you will have to contact your local Ericsson department for futher help.
They will deal with the data corrumption if any.

You don't really need to restart everything in the system. You had to be specific on what you are doing. FAM2 is the only unit that handles file records and also who decide if there is no free space, nothing more. This means the fault is only in FAM2. I even saw someone before who recommended to reload the LIM. Cheers...
