I am still having some trouble with my check box calculation. I am trying to calculate the number of [field name] that are checked ie "yes" for a particular fiels. Each field checked yes may have multiple other entries also but I just want the yes' to be counted. I have the formula correct (I think) Abs(Sum[field name] ="yes")...However this is how it is counting

field 1 field 2
level(checked yes) A
B
C
-----------------------------------

it is counting this entry as 3 instead of 1 so I am getting incorrect data... The field 1 is not connected to field 2 in any way.....it is not supposed to be anyway.....let me know if what I have just posted makes sense.....
thanks !!

Hi

Try this
SELECT Count(Table1.field1) AS CountOffield1
FROM Table1
WHERE (((Table1.field1)=Yes));

Thanks ! I will give it a try...thanks for the help..will let ya know !
