I have a problem that I haven't been able to figure out. We have an NEAX 2000 IPS, and are using E Series Dterms. I have just setup a line for a new employee, and everything works fine, except that when I map a function key (F1100) to a button on his phone to go to our VM, the button does nothing.

I have tried programming it thru CAT and MATWorx, but neither allows this function to work on this phone once mapped.

I know that I'm missing something, please let me know what it is.

Thanks!

Have you allocated any memory blocks to the phone in Cmd 73 and 94 because if you havent then F1100 has nothing to point to.

What are the exact kind of Dterms used? DTP-8, DTP-16 or DTP-32?

You can't have 73 & 94 match for the 32 button phones.

We are using DTP-8D and 16Ds. I think we have one 32-button phone, but we don't use it.

I am assuming we have allocated memory for F1100, since I have been able to program it on other phones, but I will check and get back.

Thanks for all your replies!

You don't allocate memory to F1100 You allocate memory to a station and F1100 simply points to the first block allocated to that extension. So it doesn't matter that it works on the others as they obviously have blocks assigned.

Just for reference F11XX means this will be a speeddial key and the XX stands for the memory block of the phone's assigned blocks to be used.
