Burning old Mailfile on CDROM

Hallo together,

I want to burn old contents of Mailfiles to CDROM. My problem is that Notes can not open the files as they are read only on CD. The only way to open the mailfile is to copy it to local harddrive. Is there any way to enable a Notes Client to work directly with a database located on a CD?

You need to build all of the views before you burn it onto CD. You can do this by going into the database and pressing CTRL + ALT + F9

This will build all the views and then when the file becomes read only it will still work.
