Basically it will not work - you need to run it from its development folder with its tables/libraries etc available.

Alternatively create distribution discs and install the application onto the same machine through Setup.exe.

Did you setup a foundation read?

READ EVENTS

You probably failed to include a READ EVENTS and CLEAR EVENTS. If you are calling a form typically you call READ EVENTS in your main program after calling it and placing CLEAR EVENTS in the Destroy method of you form. It runs in your development copy but will do just as you described in Runtime

Without a response as yet from august, there appears to a clue to the problem in "when i run it outside foxpro".

Perhaps we should forget about TipMasters and run a book instead on these problems!

Robert Bradley and others could probably retire on the proceeds.

Har har. My tastes are too expensive to live on $38 a month (£60 or Euro 35).

I thought someone had written a FAQ on this, since it comes up so often, but didn't see it. Any volunteers? [sig]
Robert Bradley

<a href= - Visual FoxPro Development
[/sig]
