We have a CS1000M running rel 7.65 SP8 software that on occasion outputs a BSD024 8 during Mids. There is a loop 8 installed with multiple DTL and Analog line cards installed. There have been no instances of any issues with the phones programmed on the Loop. The only thing we see is the BDS024 8 in AHST and nothing in the PDT logs that would indicate any problems with the network card or the loop in general. As best we can recall the first occurrence was several months ago, maybe 4 or 5, and then none until 12/30/2019 during the Mids. Also no one remembers whether the previous time was also for loop 8 or not. So far we have not taken any action and were hoping someone out there might have some ideas.
So has anyone seen this issue or have any ideas/suggestions as to what is going on with the CS1Km? Any input is appreciated.
The 4 of us here all have 20+ years experience on the Nortel/Avaya Meridian PBXs and have never seen this before. :-(

Start by replacing the network card and then the controller in that order and see if the trouble goes away. It could actually be any card in that loop causing that BSD error

We wanted to remove LD30 from mids but got nixed on that. We are going to swap out the network card but will have to wait for some time to see if that fixes it. The BSD24 only happens on a fairly rare occasion, 3 to 4 months between occurrences.
