Do you have the files downloaded on the system? They would be .bff files and another kind whose extension I can't remember.
Just use smitty and go through the menus for software installation. For the device, choose the directory where you have downloaded the files. and make sure that the .toc in the directory is deleted before you start with smitty. smitty will create a new one when you specify the directory.
