Hi,

Is there a way in Symantec Ghost 7.5 to create a bootable cd that goes after an image saved on the network server. We have laptops with no floppy drive that have no image out of the box and would like to just boot off the cd and download an image from the server. Its easy to do with floppy disk but cd's are a different story. The only way I can see is to save the entire image on cd's and boot off of them directly.

Thank you
Chris White

I don't use Ghost much, but I am pretty sure there is a way to do this. Another option is to make yourself a Windows PE CD. You can easily boot to Windows PE, run Ghost and image your machine. Many other useful things you can do with PE as well.
