Blank out parameter value in select window

Good morning,

I have reports in Crystal XI that use parameters. We are accessing a SQL Server 2005 database.

When the report runs the first time, the parameter window comes up blank so the user can select values. From that time forward, until the report is closed and repopened or Crystal is closed, the report maintains the last value selected for each parameter. I'd like to be able to blank out the select boxes and force the user to choose from the drop down list or date calendar a new value each time they refresh and select "prompt for new parameters" is there a way to do this?

On additional thing, on a date parameter, how can I default it to the current date, it is set for discrete values and I want to default the current date, but allow users to choose another date if they want to run prior records.
