I'm having problems setting up greetings table, our hours is 8am till 4pm, m-f. the only message I want played is our after hours message.

Now when someone calls during regular hours it goes directly to our after hours message.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

If you only want the voice mail (auto attendant) to answer when the office is closed, then you will need to use a RINGING SERVICE mode. With the configuration you have, greeting 1 plays all day. Now if you want to use a "we're open" greeting, then record that to greeting 2 and set the Morning/Afternoon to use greeting 2 then adjust the times when you want them to play.

In order to have a "closed" greeting play all day (for example Saturday and Sunday), then set the morning/afternoon/evening times to: 11:59PM and then the non-business time to 12:00AM.

Hope this helps.

I hate to sound ignorant but I'm a virgin when it comes to this system.

How do I access "RINGING SERVICE mode" from the call pilot manager??

Thanks alot.

The ringing service is programmable through Element Manager/Telephony Services. I would recommend having the company who put in your system resolve that for you.

You may want to fix your contact link unless your out of the TV biz.

In the event no hook up...

I am guessing you were not given access to the phone system programming?.
Some techs just give the IP to the Call Pilot.

You would need to network a latop or PC to your BCM ethernet port.
Once connected you enter 10.101.11.1 (or Just the IP you see when you go into Call Pilot in the address field) into the internet browser, from there you can download Element Manager that allows you to connect and program the BCM, there are also manuals you can download also.
Its possible to porgram from a phone as welll, howver you will need to know the user name and login for both methods.
The default passwords are in the manual (cannot post passwords here, or emails for that matter).

Service Modes being phone system side.
Setup an Automatic with your times under NIGHT.
Add phone lines (line 061, 062 etc)
Add member DN/Ext of voice mail (F985 to find out)
Remove member DN/Ext 221
Setup a Control Set DN/Ext (reception or 221?)
