Trying to figure out why if I've told the system no GD Mbox it still takes messages, even if I've rest the password where you must initialize the mailbox it still takes messages. The client does not want any messages

Assign an alternate greeting on your GD Mbox and set "accept messages" to no, that should fix it.

is it associated with a set ?
if it is it is being treated like a regular vmail box

when you say gen del no it is just telling the system not to send any invalid call to go to gen del , the mailbox is still available

as an example
i call in and dial 321 ,it does not have a mailbox so go to gen del

if gen del is off it will say "person not available good bye"

don't recall seeing that option to "accept message"?

I think it was associated to 221 but when I go and change the associated extension, it does not allow me to continue, it seem to want an extension

set to extension 100 that is not a valid extension but will solve your problem

I'm back there next Tuesday and will look at this closer, F980 100 is active and tells me to leave a message yet my password is still not initializes
