Anyone know off hand if the new 5.0 release will integrate with OCS?

I'm keen to find out too. Also whether Exchange 2007 UM integration might be possible.

The problem with previous BCM 50 releases is that they only supported SIP over UDP whereas OCS & Exchange need SIP over TCP.

I did see that the BCM 400 (rel4) does have SIP over TCP option, so I am hopeful that BCM 50 Rel 5 might also have that. However I have been reading the documentation for Rel 5 which has ben on nortel.com for a while and there doesn't seem to be a mention to SIP over TCP.

Not sure why they would introduce it on the 400 but not the 50.

Hopefully the Rel 5 upgrade keycodes will be available soon and we can test it.

Looks liek Notel don't have SIP over TCP in BCM release 50 so I suspect OCS integration isn't possible. Certainly Exchange 2007 UM integration isn't possibel without SIP over TCP.

Based on the "workshop" I was at today, we were told there are no plans for OCS integration.

Thats's a shame - most of the support needed is there - it's the SIP over TCP function they seem to flatly refuse to incoporate - yet it was there in BCM 400 release 4!

It's very short sighted of them. The official line is if you want Exchange/OCS integration CS1000 is the product line you should consider.
