Hi all..

I have Backup Exec 10d in a Windows 2003 server , and Qualstar TLS library whith 180 tapes.

I have a lot of errors in the tapes... like cyclic redundancy, or reading/writing errors. When a backup job mount a tape and got these errors, the job stops.
I want to know if i can configure backup exec to move this tapes in another pool automaticaly, or doing something that the tapes will not use when the job will be rescheduled.

Thanks in advance.

No there is not a option. Basically they are hardware error. Have you contact Qualstart get the latest firmware updated, Fiber/Scsi card update, or try new tapes?
