Looking for the part number for my p1510 Radiant. I was assuming it was something to the gist of p1510-BULB but can't find anything online.

Obviously tightly held up by vendors who provide support for this ludicrous Aloha software but was trying to find replacement parts online and install myself since I know how.

Life was easier with IBM... oh well. Thoughts or recommendations of where to look? Thanks in advance.

I believe Radiant/Aloha hardware, like Micros, is "sole source". It's common for the computer/component Mfg's to actually agree not to sell components to anyone but the company that contracted for the hardware.

Whether or not you believe their intention is to control the product or to be put in a position to charge excessive prices that they otherwise could not is the debate.

You need to find an Aloha Dealer that is willing to sell you those parts. I this economy, it's likely you'll find one. Google for Aloha Dealers and pick up the phone or email. I'd start with the big cities 1st as IMO they are more likely to posses the mindset of "We are willing to sell it if you are willing to buy it". The big cities have very competitive environments. Good Luck.

techcosales.com has the backlight bulbs for the P1510 and will mail them to you. Great help there. I bought them there, but that wasn't my problem. They helped me determine the problem, though.
