Hi,

I have a form that has to be requeried about every 60sec.
How can I do this?
Many thanks,
kp

You may use the Timer event procedure of the form.

Hope This Helps, PH.

How are ya techkenny1 . . .

Agree with [blue]PHV[/blue] however:
[ol][li]Is this a form where editing will take place?
If so its a bad idea as edited records could be prematurely saved, as well as [blue]focus returning to the 1st record[/blue] after requery occurs.[/li]
[li]Is this a [blue]read only[/blue] form?
The same will occur where [blue]focus returns to the 1st record[/blue] (you may have been reading the last record!).[/li][/ol]
You may want to give more thought to the issues I've mentioned.

Hi Aceman1,
yes this is a read only form. It gives the user info on the progress of his work.
Its basically a time mangement system in which the user can know if he is meeting his requirments.

Alright then:
[ol][li]On the forms [blue]On Load[/blue] event (the event line!), enter [blue]60000[/blue].[/li]
[li]Then in the forms [blue]On Timer[/blue] event, copy/paste the following:
Code:
[blue] Me.Requery[/blue]
[/li][/ol]
Curious though ... unless your secnario is multiuser (which makes some sense), why the 60sec interval requery? [surprise]

Hi the Aceman1
In answer to your question.. why 60sec. It takes about 60sec to complete the invoice proforma. The staff wanted to
know and track their performance etc. It could be set to any time limit. I guess that it adds abit of competiton in the work place, particulary as we bonus quite handsomely each week for that staff member who has performed well!

Woahhhh! [blush]

On the forms On Load event (the event line!), enter 60000.
