This one has been throwing me for a loop...
I know how to properly embed a linked range of Excel cells into a PPT slide AND how to set the link to automatically update whenever I open the file. However, what I'd LIKE to do is to have a .PPS file constantly looping with slides that would show shipping progress that is updated in real time.
The overall purpose is to have an ongoing information presentation running on a large LCD monitor in our company common area. This will show job info, upcoming events, etc. as well as our current shipping status. The linked Excel file gets updated throughout the day in real time, but the constantly looping .PPS file isn't updating.
Is this possible in PPT '03? I found a link for an "automatically-updates-your-links" add-in for PPT '97 and greater but my PPT '03 wouldn't accept it.
Thanks!
