Anyone know where and how to get critical updates automatically (say at a sheduled time) for win2k pro machines.
Thanks.

ok,
But where/what is this windows update application that I need to add to the scheduled task.
Thanks.

Should be a standard component of windows 2000. If not found in the start menu, do a search for wupdmgr.exe
Still looking for places to dl

if you go to control panel, scheduled tasks...add task, should be on the list. im not sure if it will run the update automatically, or just pop up the bubble to notify that an update is out there.

I thought there were some hotfixes or other utilites for this. Any idea about it.
Is it worth the effort anyways.
Thanks.

If all else fails, you can download the updates to the server, and using the qchain.exe (also downloadable) you can push the updates to each machine in a logon script calling a batch file.
