I loaded MSOffice 2000 on a new to me used PC. Access started up OK, but when I attempted to make changes to a few existing tables, I received the following error statement: "MS Access can't use the AutoCorrect lists. MS Access cannot install the necessary files due to Windows installer error 87. The parameter is incorrect."

The same thing happened when I attempted to use Excel.

I have loaded this program on my other PCs without any problems. What can I do to resolve this?

Maybe your new used computer does not have the memory capabilites to use the AutoCorrect Lists. Because you said it was happening on both excel, and access.
