Auto fit to window - Word (Excel Pasted table)

I am copying text from Excel(2002) to word. When I try to record a macro to paste and resize to fit window, the option to autofitwindow is grayed. However, I can complete the autofitwindow after stopping the macro record. Any help would be appreciated. The text being copied translates into about 13" when pasted into word.

This option is available for table, this resizes first table in document with this code:
[tt]ThisDocument.Tables(1).AutoFitBehavior (wdAutoFitWindow)[/tt]
