I just picked up a new customer I'm going to see in the morning for a service call. The system model is a 103H Partner I do not know very much I support mostly Nortel. The system is 14 years old and the customer says all of sudden the calls instead of ringing at the 34D they are going to the Auto Att. and customers are having to 0 out to the ext. I called today and the customer said the change battery message is on the display and the time was 5:30 am and this was at 14:00 today.

You have an ACS that had dead batteries, and a power failure that caused it to go back to the default settings. Install new AAA batteries, and if the telephone gods are smiling, there is a backup on the PCMCIA card that you can restore from. Otherwise, you will need to program from scratch, including the voicemail ports, which currently are not programmed and grabbing every incoming call.

I will try that first, Thank you for the reply. Can this switch be programmed remotely?

Not reliably - if the system has a remote access/backup and restore card in it, you can use the remote programming program, but the modem connections are tenuous at best. Programming from Ext. 10 takes about 5 to 10 minutes if you know what you're doing.
