Hi, easy one I'm sure but I can't see it.

Just moved sites and rebuilt all our phones but seem to have missed a usual setting.

When I pick up a call now on a typical 2616 admin set I have to press the DN key to answer the call. (Rather than automatically. Likewise when I pick up the handset I don't automatically get a dial-tone.

I've set IRA and LPK settings....

Any clues ?

add ola to cls and set item LPK xx (xx = the highest key that is a DN)

Thanks for that, actually it seems to be linked to my having my headset cable clipped in - in the past so long as I had the headset 'unclipped' in the middle the handset always took priority - is there any setting for a 2616 which says the handset is the dominant party ?

cant remember, if there is, it is on the set level programming, 39xx's offer the on-hook default path option of hands-free or headset, not sure about 2616

Most headsets just tie in to the Handset cord on a 2616, there are no settings on the phone itself that can affect that operation other than volume.

Sorry, should say that although the phones are programmed as 2616's - they actual sets are 3820's and 3310's.

I can't remember specifically but think this is a HOML related setting, are you on ACD handsets?
