We are using Premier 6.0 to edit our recordings for our weekly church service. We feed the audio from our Mackie soundboard directly into our computer when we record the service.

The problem I am noticing is that the video seems to be 1 to 2 frames ahead of the audio causing a noticible lip sync problem.

Is the fact the audio is going thru my soundboard while the video comes from the switcher directly to the compter where my problem is coming from. It seems worse on the pastor who is using a wireless mike.

I figure it's some sort of electronic delay in the mixing console. What is the best way to correct this in Premier? How do I resync the audio to the video?

Hi - I don't know what caused the problem, but can't you slide the audio (in the timeline) forward or backward until it synchs? People who use clapboards (snap shut) do that.
