We have a BCM 450 with a PRI. We have found that we cannot dial local calls that go to another area code. We are not required to dial an area code for local calls, but there is another area code that can be dialed without a 1 or toll charges using 10 digit dialing. We were told by our telco that they are only receiving 7 digits on attempts to dial these numbers. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

In Element Manager go to:

Configuration->Telephony->Dialing Plan->Public Network

Under "Public Network DN Lengths", change the DN Length of the Default DN Prefix from 7 to 10.

Good luck.
