ArcServe2K vs Brightstor 9???

We have just added another server to the farm and now need to back it up.
I called my ArcServe re-seller and bam.... I can't get ArcServe 2000 Advance Edition anymore? I will need to purchase Brightstor 9, then call the CA License dept and they will give me a downgrade key. Has anyone done this? What are the pros and cons with this downgrade key?

All of our other servers are running ArcServe 2K and we have become quite familiar and happy with product. Does Brightstor 9 have similar functionality? Should we be moving towards an "Upgrade Key" to bring the other backup software that we have up to speed. (yeah right is what CA will say)

Put in your mind that ARCserve 9 is arcserve2000+all patches applied so moving to it is the right decision
from my point view and my experiance .
