Arcserve 11 and Oracle Agent

Help!

I am using Acrserve v11 to backup an Oracle database. The backup job was working for approximately one week and now produces the following error........

Failed to enumerate databases. (AGENT=dbaora7@dp2p, EC=Backup Agent Error -- (265) "Cannot get tablespace names: Please check Oracle Server. If you wish to perform a backup Offline, please submit a file system backup.".)

All my research I have done so far points to the fact that the SID is wrong, this is not the case as Oracle reports that the Server on which Arcserve sits on is connecting to the database.

Long shot, but if you recycled Oracle, you need to recycle the BrightStor Oracle Backup Agent Service too.

Thanks for replying, by 'recycle' do you mean stoping and then re-starting the Oracle services?
