archive.pst could not be found error

I have a user that gets this message when she opens her outlook and logs in. she can close and reopen outlook without getting the message, but if she logs out and then back in, she gets the message again. Here is the error message she receives:

The file M:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\archive.pst could not be found.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

In the mail tab, do you see 'Archive Folders'?

If not, archive.pst hasnt been created or is lost.

File > New > Outlook Data File. It will create an archive.pst file in the directory you have above.

I couldn't find an old archive.pst file, so we created a new archive.pst file in the same directory and manually ran the outlook archiving. Currently running the archiving process. Will reply again when it is finished. Hope everything is successful.
