Architect losing date fields

I am unable to see a SQL Server 2000 datetime field in Transformer (sql produces gobledegook). I notice in the Architect v7.0 data source the attribute is defined as "null terminated character string" rather than a date type.

But I cannot get it to change, even by recreating the Data layer in Architect.

Anyone else had this problem?

Solved my own problem!

Architect was not picking up the correct definitions from the database. I rebooted and restarted Architect and the problem went away
