Hi Everyone,

I've somehow managed to build a menu service for a user extension with application builder and i've looked at it time and time again and I'm betting it's built correctly, but what is the connection between the user's extension and the menu service. Just because I built it doesn't make it work, so I'm missing something critical here. Please help.

one more step, in the call pilot server, system, voice service dn, add that dn and marry it to the file name

In CallPilot, go to System, then System Directory Number (SDN table). As John said, add the user's DN to the application.

CallPilot first checks for matches in the SDN table, then goes to the VM box tables. This will pre-empt the regular programming... :)

echo, but from one of the best call pilot people here. you can start a forum on call pilot if you think we get enough hits on that product sandy

I for one would like to see a separate CallPilot Group. Just my 2 cents worth.

jeff you can start a call pilot forum from the home page of this site, if you do post a link here and i can ref users to it.

Hey John, thanks for the very nice compliment! [thumbsup]

I agree, it's time to start a CallPilot forum. With the new features of 4.0, we're bound to start seeing a lot of postings.

Please provide some more info or Screen Shot your Application Flow and send it to the site so we can see how you have it built. Are you using Express Msging to Mailbox? or Call Transfer? Are there menu choices?

Thanks.

I can't get a screen shot of the menu yet, but i'm using call transfer to the menu choices except to his voicemail with is express messaging. every option works except the otpion that is supposed to go to his mobile phone. He is in a mailbox class w/RPL that allows '9" which is how we get out. What have I forgotten?

The CallPilot ports need to have the appropriate NCOS to allow them to transfer the call out of the PBX. I build mine with an NCOS that no phones use (such as 10), and give it the FRL that I want. That way, I can raise and lower its outdialling permissions without having to reprogram the TNs themselves.

Beware, in doing this you are opening your self up to toll fraud. You might consider building a dummy ACD Q that forwards to this number and have the call transfer to send to that instead. (You may have to use ACOD+phone number instead of 9+phone number in the ACD NCFW.) I'd change that RPL that allows 9 to one that allows specifically that number, unless you have outcalling generally in use in your system.

Sandy. I'm going to try what you've suggested. I'll let you know if I screw it up to badly.

Thanks again,

Kim

Thanks.

I built an ACD group that forwards to the mobile phone and it works great.

Thanks so much for your help.
