Another Counting Problem

I've got a weird problem. I've got a report that will count correctly as long as the report is printed vertically. If it's printed horizontally, the bottom count will switch to zero.

In one of the group footer there is a formula called @BSTTotalDisp:

WhilePrintingRecords;
NumberVar RunningTotal;
RunningTotal;


Does anyone know Why does this happens?

This formula is for display only:

WhilePrintingRecords;
NumberVar RunningTotal;
RunningTotal;

And printer orientation shouldn't affect a variable, this seems very odd, perhaps it's a bug.

If you share the formula used for counting, that may shed some light on it.
