I've got a MICS 0+32 running UK r5 software. I've just installed an 8 port Analogue Extension Module to the system.
My problem is that although the extensions work fine, pressing recall during a call from any of the analogue extensions does not return system dialtone. The system sends back a couple of faint bleeps, waits about 10 seconds, gives another short, fain bleep and re-connects the original call. Before anyone asks, I've used both 65ms and 100ms time break recall, both seem to react the same.
Obviously this makes using any of the system features (such as transferring a call) impossible! Any suggestions would be gratefully received!

do you have allow link set to yes in set restrictions?

Try hitting recall then after the initial beeps hit * and then the featue code such as 70 (transfer) + ext + hangup

I think that you are waiting too long and the system defaults back to the call you were on as opposed to continue to wait.

Hi Jerry,
Yep, that's the case. I think the confusion is due to there being no system DT being returned to the extension after pressing recall. Is there any way that that can be done on those modules, or is this something that the customer is just going to have to live with?

I think that there is no dial tone because the hookflash +* +code is all supposed to be one step and not treated like a step, wait for confirmation, step, wait for confirmation etc.

dig out the sys coordinator guide from the CD and look at the ATA features.
