I have recently installed Exchange03 internally on our network behind a Pix506e. If our server is at 192.168.2.104, what port access rules are needed to minimally allow incoming mail to the server? Most remote clients already use the VPN client to access the netork, so I am not concerned about new rules for clients to receive mail.

thanks in advance,

Try asking in the PIX firewall forum. More than likely, all you need to do is allow inbound traffic on port 25.

Yes, I simply followed directions from another post and entered an access list inbound rule and group and now it works great.
Thanks for responding so quickly,
