I was wondering if you guys could help out.

I have the mac version of flash 5, and I am trying to publish my flash into html. under the publishing option menu, it supposedly lets you allign your flash animation on the page (default,left,right,top,bottom) in different positions.

However, this option seems to have no effect, and if I alter the html file directly, the flash animation trys to load into the default top/left part, and then moves to the new position halfway through loading.

Am I using these menus incorrectly, or is there a bug?
thanks
J

HI

I've always wondered why this doesn't work. Someone asked the same question in the forum a while ago but no-one seemed to know back then

The best solution I find is to alter the HTML source before and after the <OBJECT> tags with:

<p align=center> ........or left, right
<OBJECT.........>
</OBJECT>
</p>
