How can a newbe like me beccome a TSQL developer with out experience and project to work on? Please give me some advice I strongly desire to become a developer, but I know you can only learn by experience? How can I get my hands on some small projects to develope my skills?

You can learn a lot by working on an existing system.

You could try getting a book and going through the examples, but there is nothing quite like real-life, hands-on experience. Looking at the SQL Server forum

and trying to solve the questions on your own (even if already solved) is also good experience.

It's always difficult to find a job when you're learning because people want developers who can solve problems immediately and effectively rather than people who are still fighting their way through the subject.

Do you have any formal qualifications in SQL? I struggled to move across into Visual Basic development until I got my Microsoft Certification. The qualification made no difference to my innate problem-solving abilities but it did convince people that I knew what I was talking about when it came to VB.

Find a non-profit group in your area and volunteer to do some development work for them. That will get you some experience.

Alternatively, create a project at home for an interest or hobby. Create a horse show scheduling database or a database to organize your paintings, track your son's football league stats, etc.
