Hi Guys,

I have used the upsizing wizard to migrate my Access Database to SQL Server, I done all the necessary connection changes and my forms that do not contain subforms work, but the forms with subforms just freeze …. Any ideas why?

Give more data.

Run a SQL Profiler trace on the server when you're opening your form to learn what it's doing.

Explain here the method by which your subform is synchronized with your main form. There are at least 4 distinct ways of accomplishing this.

One thing that could be happening is if your subform is actually running the entire query and then it is being filtered on the client instead of the server. That model works fine in Access MDBs, but not ADPs.

Are your forms and subforms using queries or SPs or simple object names? Are you using named arguments or question-mark placeholders?

You might have a look at filling in the values on the Data tab of the Form properties for each form and subform, Unique Table & Resync command.
