I have a form which is sent an ID number and then displays 5 fields, I want to put ad adodc on it so I can go back and forward and show the record ID. Once I have put the adodc ion the form I have no idea how to make it work. Can anyone help?

Cheers
Tim

What exactly do you mean by "making it work"?

ok, here are the basics:

On the connection string use the one you are using to access your database, something like:

Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.3.51;Data Source="c:\yourDB"

On the RecordSource property write down your SELECT statement like:

SELECT * FROM [yourTable]

Then you can assign this to a datagrid for example.

Let me know if this is what you wanted.

Also don't forget to link the textbox's (or labels or whatever) to the adodc. use the datasource prop.
