I am kind of new to HTML, can somebody let me know how to add a white space (or multiple white spaces) after a text in a table cell. So it would be <TD somevalue+ I need a few spaces here)

thanks

...or adding

<br /><br /><br />

...will give you a blank line for each <br />.

ok, so &nbsp will add text right after the text like
text......

because I do not need blank lines, I need a space (or spaces) right after the text

also, how long is &nbsp and does it need to be inside any tags, I mean is it an attribute in some tags?

thanks

or since this is the XHTML/CSS forum, why not employ CSS to add some padding to the cell?

Of course it will. If, however, you entered it correctly as it was shown to you (with the trailing semicolon), then you get space, not text.

Nice catch. [wink]
