Adding fields in an unbound textbox.

I have a report and have inserted an unbound text box into the report in order to calculate the values in certain fields but for some reason when I try add the values of 3 or more fields together the total will not appear but with only 2 fields it is OK.

Any Ideas.

It should work fine. Can you post the Control Source code for that text box??

The Control Source code is =[Basis7]+[Basis8]+[Basis10]+[Basis11]+[Basis12]+[Basis14]+[Basis15]

Can you give any more info, do you get an error message?, does #Name appear in the text box?, etc.....

I don't get any error message at all or #Name appearing in the text box. I am just wondering if it is one of those times when the program has jsut decided not to give the correct answer even though you are doing everything correct, I have had that happen with Excel before but not Access.

Any ideas.
