Adding a prefix to dialed digits 1

Hi,

we have a BCM running 3.7 code and I have what is probably a basic question. Our city has just introduced the requirement to include the area code when making local calls. Rather than have the users do this I would like to be able to add the prefix automatically when a user dials 9-xxx-xxxx. Can do?

yes doable ...
It is going to complicate the routing table

you'll have to make the dest codes 'Complete' in the sense that all possible combinations should be sent to a routing table

In the routing table - insert the digits

Thanks senk1s. This got me off in the right direction. The trick, as you alluded to, was excluding certain dial patterns.
