I am new to all this an have a nortel norstar 3x8 dr5.1 and want to hook up a cordless phone... what do I have to do to hook this up?? also will the cordless work with caller id? I think it is called an analog terminal adapter but does anyone know what kind?

An ATA (analog terminal adapter) allows you to connect an analog device such as a cordless on the Norstar. Not sure if the 3x8 has an internal ATA like the CICS. If not you'll need a separate ATA. You connect line in to the Norstar digital port and out port to the Cordless.
