Account Codes

Good Day to All

Friends! Is there any way by which i can restrict the account code to a particular extension number i.e. map one account code to one extension number. Currently account codes which i have created can be used by any extension number if in COS acccount code verified is enabled.

Plaform is Mitel 3300.

Exact customer requirement is->let us assume an account code 1234 created in the system. Now i am able to dial this account code from any extension number. Customer wish to map this account code to a specific extension number so that we cant dial this account code through any other extension number

Sorry to be a pain, but another question. Does the user need to dial the number to override toll restriction or is it just for tracking purposes.

There is the possiblity of having the phone system dial the number automatically but that would be useless if security is the purpose.

That being the case, I think you're hooped.

All phones are capable of dialing a valid account code on the system and there is no way to limit this.

Automatically dialing an account code from the phone would defeat the purpose of toll restriction security.

If user knows a valid account code how would it benifit you to limit with just one extension? Or it's gonna be a "red phone" which could be used by authorized persons?

I'm just trying to re-think the problem. If you cannot get straight solution, just change the task.
