Access Platinum .ddf files with Access2000

I've been reading through the forums and cannot find the exact answer I'm looking for so here I go. I want to be able to read data in Platinum's .ddf files with my Access2000 application. I think what I want is to create a table in Access that is linked to a table in Platinum (ie. ShipTo address table).

I've never created a DSN before so I'm totally new to that.

You'll need to create an ODBC DSN to access the data through Access. You didn't mention what version of Btrieve/Pervasive.SQL you're using. That'll determine how to set up the DSN. You should be able to just go into the ODBC Administrator and create a Pervasive DSN. Once that's done, you'll need to go into Access and then Link the table. info@mirtheil.com
