Hello all,

I have a hard drive which I am unable to get into as it boots into a loop. I will rebuild the drive with XP which is the current OS on there. I have slaved the drive and am taking data off. It picks the drive up fine as a slave and I can see ALL the data. However, under Docs & settings etc there is one profile which is the MAIN profile that I cannot access. Every time I try to get into it – it comes up with an "Access Denied2 error message. I created an account to match the profile name on my master pc log in and it still does not work. The data is very important and I have to get in, any ideas? I can’t boot into the hard drive via safe mode or anything so please let me know if you can help. Much appreciated.

You could also try a linux. Sometimes I use Puppy Linux loaded on a flash drive to bypass the NTFS security. You can boot Puppy from a flash drive and then mount up the HD and copy what ever you want over to another flash drive.
