Good morning,

I am having an issue with a Microsoft Access 2007 database that i recently created.

I have created a button that invokes a parameter box which asks for user input to perform a search and retrieve only certain records.

The database is split with a front end which is local on each persons computer and a backend which is on the network.

There are currently 5 people that are using this database and for 4 of them, it works flawlessly.

One user, is unable to use the "Search Button". When she opens the database, it allows her to click on the button and the parameter works correctly and retrieves the records she is looking for. However, if she clears the search and goes back to all records and then clicks on this "search button" again to perform a new search, it does not prompt her for parameters, instead it retrieves the same records from the last search.

All users have the same version of the database as their front end. I cannot for the life of me understand why only one user has this problem. Any suggestions?

Duane,

A new form is not being opened. The parameter plugs into a query that allows only the records that meet the criteria to be shown.

Parameter prompts are used with this database that performs a mail merge in word.
