Greetings y'all:

Quick question for the gurus that make me look like a ID Ten T user.....
I'm looking to create a calendar that will do day, week and month views and have the cool look of Outlook 2007.

My travels on Google, this forum and the like have yielded some interesting options (MSCAL, Microsoft Date and Time picker control vers. 6), but neither seem to give me the functionality of the day and week view.

Anyone have a way to do this? The bigger picture is that I need to get the value of the selected date and plug that into a table.

Thanks,
Andrew

Hey PHV,

Thanks for the response. That isn't quite what I had in mind. My customer wants to have the three views display the appointments shown on the calendar. Basically, to take the outlook calendar, and drop it into an Access DB.

So, rather than to do that (which seems like a lot of work, if possible), I know it is possible to add apptointments to the outlook calendar, but can you tack on custom fields for that appointment (aptID)?

Thanks,
Andrew

Yes you can build a custom form for adding appts in Outlook. To duplicate the flexibility and functions of the Outlook calendar in Access is an incredible amount of work beyond most seasoned developers. There are some good books on building applications in Outlook.

Hey MajP,

Thanks for the response. I'll look into that the custom field.

One final question (and I'm trying not to hijack the thread):
Is it possible to have multiple calendars in Outlook, and save each appointment to a specific calendar? Any ideas?

Thanks,
Andrew
