a Memo Field being trimmed when exported to Excel

I am creating a table in Access, when I export this table to a RTF format I am getting all the text, however when I export to an excel spreadsheet the same field text is trimmed to 255 characters


In both cases the export is based off exact same table. The problem of trimming only occurs when I export to Excel.

Any ideas on how I can resolve this?
